    I blame the full moon.  Every electrician I know refuses to wear a ring.  There are more dangers than just electricity when you work with your hands.

    DH wanted his ring b/c he shoves his hands into computers all the time and it aged better.  The white gold one we had gotten him previously scratched all to hell and couldn't be buffed out.  But, he's not really in any danger with putting his hands into the computers, there's just so many rough parts.I mean, really, they can just take off your finger and then put in back on.  They don't need a special tool.  ;)
