Sourdough is a seriously Western thing. And gross, to boot. When we first moved to AZ, we couldn't find plain Italian bread to have with spaghetti. It was all sourdough, all the time - racking up yet another reason to move back across the Mississippi in my mind.Pastrami belongs on rye.
