I know want a pastrame snadwhich....and I will piss of the tribe for asking for it on sour dough with mayo.When I was in NYC I asked for sour dough bread, and the chick said, "We don't have that. You aren't in CA anymore."I guess my CAness is apparent.

    Sourdough is a seriously Western thing. And gross, to boot. When we first moved to AZ, we couldn't find plain Italian bread to have with spaghetti. It was all sourdough, all the time - racking up yet another reason to move back across the Mississippi in my mind.Pastrami belongs on rye.
