I also said no. Just because at this point in my life, I am over the whole drug thing.

I did plenty of them in college, got it out of my system. Now I tend to judge people who insist on smoking pot as adults on a more than once in a blue moon basis.

i probably would.  don't have any desire to at the moment.  but i don't see it as any different as having a glass of wine.

I said yes, because it is sorta-kinda legal here and I have smoked. But honestly, it makes me cough like a 6th grader trying her first cigarette. The high isn't worth the discomfort, so I'd rather just drink beer. I would still eat brownies or whatever on occasion, I guess.

I've never used illegal drugs. Ever. I don't have a desire to use them. I'd rather spend my money on fun stuff. Like makeup.

me too. i considered getting a brownie when we were in amsterdam, but DH was job hunting at the time and couldn't partake in case he had to do a drug screen - so we didn't end up getting one.<div>
</div><div>I don't know that I could have sat in the coffeeshop for any extended period of time - you could smell them all the way down the street, and I don't do well with any smoke. </div>

Honestly, I'd like to try it for migraines more than anything.

(although, I should add...if it wasn't state legal?
I couldn't risk the chance it'd show up on a drug test @ work.
So...they need to COMPLETELY decriminalize it before I can do anything.

Because the way the rules work here right now?  even if I have a medical MJ script, I still could get fired.  Which pisses me off--because I have been at work hopped up on meds a lot and no one cares but if it's pott, suddenly I"m the debil)

You know what's really funny? One of the conditions you can get a perscription for pot for is Asthma. That right there is proof that the whole medical mj thing is a racket.

I've smoked plenty of pot and I have asthma. Between the pot and the cigarettes, I ended up the hospital one night because I couldn't breathe.

It was not a smart thing to do. But I was 20 and I knew EVERYTHING.

i think the government is crazy not to decriminalize/legalize - then they could tax it, and spend police manpower on more important things like catching rapists, murderers and child molesters.

<div>I thought about getting my MMJ card recently for PMS/cramps. It's been used for centuries for both afflictions - Queen Victoria recommended it.</div><div>
</div><div>But I'd bake it, not smoke it. I'm not much of a recreational-altered-states person, so that aspect doesn't really appeal to me. </div>

    Why?
it's not like smoking is the only way to get it into your system.

(and they've given me inhalable shi1 that irritates my nasal passages and lungs as treatment for athsma more times than I can count...and they didn't have side effects of working as cough suppressents)

I would partake like I do with alcohol. Every once in a while, and occasionally to season my food. Tongue out

Really though, if it were legal I probably would. But it's not, and that's reason enough for me not to. Also, I am a tight wad and if I remember correctly pot is expensive.

I suppose I should check and see if my insurance covers it at some point...
they won't cover the damn medically reccomended botox (I don't need botox but it's a neurological treatment to numb nerves--like botox was intended to be used for)

I could have in college, but never had the desire. I doubt I would change my mind if it were legalized.
