    taw, it was about the statue and that the family should put the statue in their yard.

    i was thinking the statue should come down from the start, just after the dingbats protested.

    I've already had one FB friend (PSU alum) completely change his stance. He was "protecting/supporting" Paterno a few months ago ("he didn't know anything/wasn't his fault"), but in the last week has been saying he agrees with removing the statue and all of the fines/penalties for the school. ("in light of more recent evidence, the part that paterno played in the scenario is disgusting")
  • the family really needs to stfu.  sure, tearing down the statue doesn't help the victims but neither did your beloved joe.
