quick house hunting update

small wonder has an offer.  i consider it gone. that house was on the market 7 days. i'm not surprised -- it was a lovely little thing.

we have not gone out yet. sadly, the houses are all starting to blur in his mind.

Yes, we had that happen to us.  We finally took a break from looking for a while and then came back a few months later and found what we wanted.  Though we did walk away from one house that we still talk about.

I think you also can't overthink it. You have to jump on a house that you like and meets your requirements. I had to remind myself that I wasn't the only person looking in my budget.

when i went out with the realtor, there was a couple parked in a car in front of the house we were looking at. they were talking and taking notes, and just stared at me when i walked past.

When we were looking our crappy realtor only set up one house for us to look at on the one weekend that we were going to be in town.  We just happened to love it and bought it.  But I'm still annoyed that she got a commission out of us for spending a whole hour with us and that I never got the opportunity to tour and judge.
