So, my parents have been divorced for a few years now. My mom is now re-married to a nice man who has offered to pay for our reception.
My problem is this; we have a dinner scheduled with my FILs, mom and SF, and dad next week to talk wedding. I am worried about how my dad will act. It has been a worry of mine since my mother re-married that my dad would make a scene at my wedding. (He still loves my mom and pretty much loathes my SF). I am hoping that this dinner will serve as kind of a test. If my dad can't put his issues aside for the one or two events that he will have to be around my mom and her new husband, then I will have to say something to him. How can I address this with him?
