I'm taking his. It is really important to him that I have his last name. I will go through an identity crisis afterwards though LOL

I'm keeping my name. I guess you could say I'm a feminist, and I'm pretty uncomfortable with the tradition of wifes getting their husbands name. To each their own, of course.

FI doesn't care. But I told him that if he would want us to share the same name, than he could take my name. I would love to give our children my last name, but at the moment that's not legal where I live. They are talking about changing it, but I'm not sure whether they'll be quick enough

I'll be taking FI's last name and making my maiden name my middle name. this way i can use both last names untill i'm ready to take his last name completely. and i wont have to make any changes when that time comes. i don't know why i feel sad about not having my last name anymore, but i do. i think this is a good solution for me.
