After reading the butterfly thread in the budget forum I'm a bit apprehensive about asking, but I'm looking at having a Japanese garden wedding and am throwing around the idea of utilizing live goldfish as part of centerpieces (which I would more than likely then take home and add to a planned water-feature in our garden).
I was at a birthday party once where they utilized male betta, and some of the guests took the fish home. It was visually really interesting and something that I remember around 10 years later.
I still need to find out what the appropriate size container would be for them for the duration of the receiption so that their water wouldn't go toxic. The aquaculture websites I've read say that bowls can appropriately house babies (such as those purchased at a pet store) for short periods of time.
Thoughts?
ETA: Nevermind! Using the search feature as suggested has definately changed my mind from "maybe" to "absolutely not".
