I've been trying to get the caterer/food situation nailed down for my reception, and I am having the hardest time getting any concrete answers from any of them! I have emailed or filled out inquiry forms for seven (not exaggerating!) different caterers, and only one actually responded -- and that was just to ask me to plan a sample menu so that she could create an event proposal. She hasn't gotten back to me with pricing or anything since then. It has been over a week since I contacted the most recent one, and several I emailed almost three weeks ago!
Has anyone else run into this with caterers? Is there some kind of secret handshake I need to know to get their attention?
So far, being a Gray is pretty awesome.
