I'm getting married in about a year, and my fiance and I have almost everything planned. We cannot decide on the chair sash and napkin colors, however.
Help?!
Our colors are blue and yellow. Cornflower blue and canary yellow, if you are familiar with David's Bridal's colors. My four bridesmaids are wearing blue, and my MOH is wearing yellow. The bouquets will be cornflowers and sunflowers, with the girls wearing blue being more heavy on the sunflowers and vice versa.
As for the tables, the table covers are white, and our centerpieces are white flowers with cornfowers. We're leaving out the sunflowers here because our cake is going to be decorated in sunflowers only. (We don't want anything too heavy in any one color.)
What do you think would be the best chair sash and napkin color scheme?
It's a summer wedding, and I think having all blue sashes would look too icy, like winter. If we did all yellow, however, I would want to balance that with blue napkiins, but I think that might look weird.
My dad suggested alternating tables (blue sashes, yellow napkins; yellow sashes, blue napkins). My fiance thinks it will look funny since we won't have many tables. (Small wedding, 80 people tops... 10 of them are small children that may not come).
I don't want anything to look out of place. I don't want the decor so heavy in one color that people wonder why the bridesmaids or MOH is wearing this color or that color.
Suggestions?! Or, even better, pictures?!?!
