Event Insurance

Our reception venue requires $1M bodily injury and $2M aggregate insurance and I'm having a lot of trouble finding an insurance company that does one-day insurance at these amounts.  I tried WedSafe but they don't go that high.  I have one quote but it's $245 and I was hoping not to spend that much on insurance.  Does anyone know of a company (I'm in the Sarasota, FL area) that I can contact for a quote?

Does your venue give a list of insurance companies that other couples have used?  We used WedSafe, but only needed $1M in liability coverage. Maybe Fireman's Fund or NASEP can offer the amount of insurance you need:

Have you asked your venue for recs on who to go through?  If they require that much coverage they must know of people that offer it.

Does your homeowners or renters insurance do it?  Ours did (State Farm).  It was two days though for us Reception is 7:30pm-1am.  It was only $100.
