My venue gives you the choice of rectangle or round tables. I have having a hard time choosing. The room we will be eating in is kind of long and narrow so the round tables would have to be catty-corner(sp?) to eachother all the way down the room, and I would have half the people in one room, and the rest an another (you can still see each other you just have to walk up 3 steps to the upper room and glass french doors would be open). I kind if like when the long rectangle tables are put together also. I was thinking of putting a couple of the 6foot tables and make 2 rows of like 24' tables, then have lots of candles and rose petals.
Also with rectangle tables, everyone can fit in the same room. I feel weird only having 2-3 tables in the upper different room.
Having a hard time deciding!! Has anyone else used rectangle tables successfully.
Example of what I mean with candles/flowers and rectangle tables.http://www.imonievents.net/focus-on-dinner-yum/gold-wedding-reception-tablescapes-dinner-party-2/
What do you guys think? The round tables, we only have the choice of white and ivory covers but for the rectangle, we can have any color we would want.
