First Dance

How did you go about picking the song for your first dance?  My FI and I do not have a song.  I love country, and love to two step, but he is not much of a fan of either.  I'm open to other types of music, but can't think of any songs.  Maybe something older: bing band, beatles, etc?

Any suggestions?

We're using Your Song by Elton John. 

I also love Angel Eyes by Jeff Healey and Taking you Home by Don Henley.

We Googled "shortest first dance songs."  "Can't Help Falling in Love" came in at 2 minutes and my husband loves the Eels' cover version.  So that is what we used and it was perfect.

We are using "Set Fire to the Third Bar" by Snow Patrol. It's on a CD he sent to me when we first started dating and it became the song/CD we listened to during road trips, plane rides, etc. (This was pre-"Dear John")
