Anyone know where to get glitter guns?

Not the teeny tiny little ones, but the tommy gun looking thing that Ke$ha uses in concerts. My FI's groomsmen want to shoot us with them upon our introduction.

I have no clue where you could find something like that...but are you sure you want to be COVERED in glitter for your entire wedding reception?  Glitter is almost impossible to get off.  Would your reception space even allow such a thing?  I'd be way more agreeable to a confetti cannon.  Good luck!

  • I cannot imagine any venue would allow this.  Do you know what a mess these are?  They don't call glitter "the herpes of the craft world" for nothing.
  • My FI brought up the herpes concept as well. The glitter she uses is actually really BIG pieces of metallic confetti - not actual glitter. We have yet to confer with our venue, and of course if they won't allow it, we won't do it.

  • Well as long as you talk to your venue about it BEFORE you spend $80+/groomsman on a glitter/metalic confetti cannon I guess it's okay, but honestly, I'd just tell the groomsmen "no"- it seems like so much mess.

  • Honestly, I really wouldn't even bother with it.  That is a lot of money to spend on something that will only be used for about 5 seconds.  Is it really worth it?  Wouldn't it be just as easy to have your WP toss the glitter as you walk in instead of using crazy, expensive guns?
