I am getting married in 2 months. We both have two kids so we are on a tight budget. This is my first wedding. I want to get married at the church I attend and have the reception in the fellowship hall of the church. I will be saving money because I will not have to pay for the fellowship hall and it is a very pretty reception area. The church doesn't allow alcohol, secular music or dancing. I am not a big drinker and I don't dance. I will miss having some lively music though. But we can have some real pretty classical music playing in the background. I have some important people in my life that are upset because there will not be any alcohol at the wedding reception. I am having a 2:00 wedding. The reception will probably start around 2:30. I think they feel they will be embarrassed in front of there friends coming in for the wedding. I found another venue that we could use for free "the volunteer firehouse" and could have music and champaign but some other important people in my life don't think it is pretty enough for a reception. Just venting.
