Disneyland for Christmas

I got the idea in my head to go to Disneyland for Christmas! I really want to go now! My daughter turns 18 this year so who knows how much longer she's going to be down with taking trips with us. Plus, it's not like she or we need anymore stuff. A trip somewhere would be much better than buying presents. Like how I am justifying this?  I looked at our time share and there's time available. Plus, I have Dec 22-Jan 1 off from work.

Sorry I'm a lurker on this board but post over on the Hawaii board.  I wanted to say that Disneyland is awesome during Christmas and Halloween.  I really hope you can make the trip.

Lyn- I don't know why you don't post on this board more often! You are a destination bride, too. :)

The first time I ever took my daughter to Disneyland was at Christmas time. I think it'd be fun to take her back at the same time. I know she'd love it. It really comes down to if we can swing the cost of it or not.

I often ask myself why I don't post over here, there is a lot more traffic over here to keep me busy.  Anyways, I really do hope you can swing it.  Something about the place and perhaps going there as a kid it just feels magical and fun loving no matter how old I get.  I am sure you, your daughter and by then hubby will have such a wonderful time.

The faster move is exactly why I started posting on here. I love the Hawaii board, but so SLOW. Although, with all the TK kinks these days even this board seems slow. Depending on how you are viewing the board, not all posts can be seen by all users. It's lame.

I think it's time to introduce yourself to all the other DW ladies. :)

Your idea is fantastic!! My new husband and I are planning on doing Disney for my birthday and all their Halloween stuff will be out then!! I haven't been since I was four years old and he's never been, we are really excited for this!! I hope you end up going!

Do it! My family friends would always go the day after Christmas and stay through New Year's. Such a cool idea and time for a trip!

Love Disney during Chirstmas time. I think it is a great idea!

H and I always take a trip around Christmas  and our birthdays instead of presents since we get gifts from family and becuase if we want something we usually just buy it instead of waiting for a special occasion.

Ummm I had the Dole Whip when I went to the Dole plantation in Hawaii! You should so do the trip....looks like its meant to be with your time off and time share availability!

Do it. It is so much fun at Christmas. Everything is so festive! In the Animal Kingdom the best ride is Expedition Everest. So fun if you like roller coasters. I don't like them all that much but I loved this one.
