new with an old question;-)

Hi guys!  I haven't spent much time on this board but the closer I get to the day, the more logistics I'm starting to worry about.  So my question is this, and please forgive me if it's been asked a million times:  Air travel with your wedding dress, which airlines are great and which stink?  I just called United and they don't have a closet but Alaska said I could put it in there "if there's room."  We're flying on a Wednesday so I can't imagine it will be a very full flight, however I wanted to get your opinions and experiences on different airlines.TIA!

Re: new with an old question;-)

 • Ok first off... A) Your ticker is hysterical. I freaking LOVE that movie and tried for 3 months to convince FI for us to ask the minister to start our ceremony with that exact quote... LOL (he didn't cave.. boo) And B) You shouldn't have any major issues carrying your dress on. Check to make sure the place you are going will be able to steam or press your dress before the wedding so you don't have to worry about it getting too wrinkled... usually airlines will do their best to accommodate brides :-) HTH!
 • Don't call them...just bring it with you as the carry on...they won't have the heart to tell a bride that she needs to check in her dress :-)
