Ditto JenJen & Mrs. Diaz

I am a hot mess. Every worry that can ever come into my mind has come into my mind and CLOUDED it. We leave in 4 days to Italy and I can't stop thinking of all the stuff that could go wrong. Weeks ago, I was on cloud 9 with thoughts of the ceremony, of going to a beautiful country with my family and FI. I came to The Knot and saw some great bios and read some great postings. Now...I'm so exhausted from worry that I want to crawl into a hole. *sigh*

I need to get BACK to the time when I got so excited that the minutes couldn't go any faster.

    Your wedding is going to be fantastic and all that matters is that you are getting married, the rest is just details!

  • Awww its going to be ok you'll see. Don't stress tooo  much and just take it all in. Remember, you will only get marry once and if anything does go wrong (which I know it won't) just let it go and think of the most important detail. Marrying your best friend and saying your vows.

  • I don't know if it will help, but when I would start worrying about what could go wrong, I would challenge myself to stop worrying and really imagine whatever thing it was going wrong. Like "Michelle, what if you really do forget to get the marriage license or they're not available? Well, then I *guess* we could still do the ceremony and just make it official back home. It wouldn't be ideal, but it definitely wouldn't be the end of the world and we'd still have a great time & great pics."  Being able to stop the cycle of endless worries was really helpful for me, and I was able to laugh at myself for some of the ridiculous worries I'd have. If something *does* go wrong, it will more than likely be something that will make a great story later down the road.

    Sending ::relaxing vibes:: your way!!
