The Bad
Well there are a few things that I would have changed if I could do it over.
The first our hotel- We stayed at the Luxor… would never stay there again! Horrible customer service, bad rooms, just not happy all together. The suite we reserved was supposed to be 700-800 sq ft and it was maybe 400. It was supposed to have a huge Jacuzzi tub and it was a bath tub with a few jets on the side. We were supposed to have our in suite reception here but it ended up being too small to fit everyone. The only upside to staying there was our bed was really comfy. Our friends who also stayed there had holes in their walls too.
The car- We rented a car so we could get our stuff done for the wedding. Which worked out great, however since we had a car everyone expected us to haul them around and pick them up from the airport… even though there was free shuttles. I would have made it clear we arent a taxi service.
Our Vows- We both memorized our vows… but because all the nerves we both screwed up our vows… Husband didn’t get almost anything right! It made it funny but I probably would have kept a copy of them on us to read them again.
Bridesmaids- We were supposed to meet in my room for hair/makeup at 2pm… my MOH decided not to show up until 4:30 and cancelled her hair and makeup appointment at the last second (2pm so I had to pay $40 for her cancelling) I told them the time but next time I would have told them over and over not to be late because the makeup and hair ladies were waiting on us.
The Place- Our wedding was amazing, the place was beautiful but it was on a slight hill walking in and I think we all about bit it once! I probably would have walked up and down it till I was comfortable!
