So, originally FI's parents were contributing a set amount to us and they told us we can do whatever we want with it ... put towards wedding, Rehearsal Dinner, honeymoon, whatever ....
I knew it was important to them that we have a Rehearsal Dinner and include everyone invited obviously since it's a DW (and we're not having much of a bridal party, so it's more of a Welcome Dinner). So, when they were in town a few weeks ago, we were looking at some options together, but I was trying not to use their whole amount b/c, quite frankly - this wedding is getting pricey haha. So anyway - she called FI this morning and said that, not only are they going to pay for the Welcome Dinner ON TOP OF what they were already contributing, but she wants to plan it too (if I'm ok with that). HELLLLLLL YES I'm ok w/ getting one more thing off my plate! This is soooooo generous of them and absolutely HUGE for us! WOOHOO!!!!
