Oakland Honeymoon Hotel

We are getting married on a Saturday and leaving from the Oakland Airport on the Monday morning. We are looking for a very nice hotel to stay in near the airport for Sunday night. Any suggestions?

I dont think there is anything nice by the Oakland Airport (its a pretty bad area) but if you are looking for a nice spot not too far away, check out the Claremont Hotel- its amazing

I used to work at a private terminal at the Oakland Airport.  We used to set up people at the Hilton.  Its a decent hotel and right across the street from the entrance of the airport.  The other hotel we dealt with was the Courtyard Marriot.  I've actually stayed there once and it was pretty nice, but I think the Hilton is a better choice.  Plus they have gated entry with someone there monitering who enters and leaves the parking lot.  Hope that helps.

Thanks for your help! It doesn't have to be right by the airport just somewhere in the general oakland area so it is easy to get there in the morning.
