FI, my parents and I had our food tasting last night. It was so good. Made it really hard to decide. We also met with the venue coordinator/owner to go over some final details. The reception is in a covered pavilion that has tent sides. I had hoped to start out the reception with the sides up so everyone could see the surrounding scenerey. I know the wedding is still two weeks away but it's forcast to be in the upper 60s. The cooridinator said that in order to keep heat in we'd have to have the sides down and that with the leaves in full color this early, there might not be much to look at in two weeks anyway.
I had also wanted the space set up with the DJ and dance floor on a certain side so his set up wouldn't block the scenery. Can't do that. The electrical outlets for the DJs are on the other side and they have set up the buffet where I was going to have the DJ because that's closer to the kitchen. I am so disappointed by all this.I know they're just little stupid things but it was so hard not to cry while driving home last night.
