Mani/Pedi Color?

I almost never paint my nails, but I am getting a mani/pedi before the wedding and I don't know what color to do. My color scheme is royal blue and orange, but I don't want to do my toes either of those colors.

I had a mani pedi done a few weeks ago for my bachelorette party and did a plae pink on my fingernails which looked awful- it looked like it was trying to be skin-colored, and sort of made me look like I had no fingernails. My toes were a gorgeous wine/dark purple color which I LOVED but doesn't really match. I have peep-toed shoes so they will probably be seen.


Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe a traditional French manicure for my fingers, but have no idea for my toes.

My colors are Royal blue/pinks. My shoes are peep toe as well and they're royal blue so I'm going with a hot pink on my toes. They won't be seen much anyway but I want the pop of color. I'm doing traditional French for my hands. They CAN also do white tips on your toes as well. And as far as your scheme..that's probably what I'd ask for. My advice is either french tips on your toes as well, or be bold and go orange. I wouldn't go with an off the wall burgandy unless you have that in your scheme. The orange may look great! And no one is going to see much of your toes assuming you're dress is long! Good luck with your choice!

I am getting a french manicure on fngers and a bright pink on toes.  I have closed toe shoes so it really doesn't matter, but we are going to Puerto Rico for the HM so I am thinking a little ahead of what color would look nice on the beach.  lol.

They can do a french tip on your toes too, if your looking for something neutral.  And you're right, some people can't pull off a pale pink and look natural...it depends on your skin tone.

On my fingers I will be getting gel French manicure with a tiny red heart drawn on my left ring finger. And my toes will be light pink but covered with tiny rhinestones. Mainly doing this on my toes for the honeymoon! No one will really be seeing my toes for the wedding .

I did Ballet Slippers by Essie for my fingernails. Apparently it's the most popular bridal color ever, and once I did it, I can see why. It's super-sheer light pink and it's JUST enough color to make your nails look shiny and healthy.

I also did a bright pink pedi like NRod, specifically because I wanted something I would like on the honeymoon as well. It's held up quite well, actually, and still looks good.

I got a green glitter polish for my toes and it looks super cute. Maybe you could do a silver glitter? Something neutral to your wedding colors but that would still sparkle?
