Unexpected half-check!
My FI is awesome. 
A few months ago, I took a second job in a different department of the hospital where I work to help pay for wedding expenses. On Wednesdays I go straight from one job to the other, for what basically amounts to a 15 hour shift. And working in the ER was super-stressful tonight, so it came as an even more pleasant surprise when I picked up my phone and found the following text:
"So, I wrote my vows.
"
Like I said, he's awesome.
Now I'm going to have to hustle butt and write mine!
