Save the dates/ invites

When are you fellow October brides sending out save the dates?  Also do you already know what kind/style of invite you will be using.  I cant make up my mind but am not sure if I need to have the invite theme down before we send out the std's.

We arent getting our e pics until March so was leaning towards not doing an e pic for ours, maybe just postcards from vistaprint but I still have no clue what i want our theme to be for the STD and invites

We are sending them out in January. They are all ready to go. I am not matching them to the invitations. I just wanted to something cute and fun.

Jan-Feb for us.  I saw some cute Fall themed Magnets on magnetstreet, but I didn't like the multi-picture ones.  So our STDs might be more classic since our pics scream FALL... then fall themed invites.  Friend is a graphic designer and said will help me with that stuff AFTER the holidays - which I totally understand.

We prob send ours out closer to February. I have no idea what our invites are going to be so they prob won't match, maybe the same colors. I don't think it really matters if they match or not. I got magnets from vistaprint.

We plan on sending e-mail save the dates with a link to our website. Very informal but 95% of our guests have access to email.

We will be doing this at the end of January.

I'm planning on sending my save the dates out mid January. We have a lot of OOT guests and FI's mom really wants them sent out early! We actually just met with the person that is designing our save the dates and invitations on Sunday. I should have them by early January. I can't wait to see what she comes up with from what seemed like a scattered vision haha!

We are sending ours out sometime in late Jan or early Feb. We wanted to be in the new house before we ordered them and sent them out, and we don't close until the 6th. As for design, I've bounced around like crazy. I think I will just stick with something in Red my primary wedding color. I found some really cute scratch off save the dates on invitation consultants.

We are going to send ours out end of January/early February.  Ours will match our theme (peacock) and we haven't had our e-pics yet, so it will just be a simple card. Pics are in my bio.

STDs will probably go out sometime in late Jan.  I thought that the timeline for sending STDs was about 8 months before the wedding, but people have already been asking my mom when we're sending STDs out?!?  

This is the rough draft of our STD design.  We're doing them on magnets from VistaPrint.  Still working on the font, need to add wedding website, and formal invitation to follow.  We just got our high res digital file of the e-pic that we're using, so the photog's watermark won't be there and the image will be sharper.

I'm sending out my save the dates in late Jan/early Feb. As soon as I get my e-pics back.

We will not be sending save the dates. They are not common at all in my area and anyone who needs to travel has already been made aware of the date.

As for invites, I've already picked out the ones I want but they're insanely expensive. So I'm working with a friend of mine that does invites to design ones that are vrey similar.

We are taking epics in Feb so we figure early March to send out our STD cards

Same as everyone else, pretty much, late Jan/early Feb, as we are doing epics in early January. I'm a self taught graphic designer, so I plan on creating my own and shooting them off to vistaprint or shutterfly. Excited!

Since ours is a destination wedding, most of our friends and family already know, but we made low-cost ones anyway. We took nice e-pics on our own one weekend and edited the photo to include our information, then had it printed at Walgreens as regular prints for 10cents a piece! We're sending them out with our Christmas cards to save on stamps!

I have my save the dates already and am going to try to get them out before the end of the month.  I just went with inexpensive magnets from Orientaltrading.com

agree. same as everyone else. FI not in the country at the moment so im hoping that he will be here at least early jan. then get the e pics done. std'd out by feb at  the latest!!
