Reasons I love FI....

So...I've been really stressed about my jewelry for the day of the wedding. FI knows that I was looking for a combination of bling and pearls. So today, he sent me links for a couple sets of jewelry for the day of that he found on etsy. He told me he's going to order one and I'll see it when it comes in. He really is sweet sometimes.

Anybody else have a super cute FI moment lately?

omg totally sweet. Its funny that you posted this because we got engaged 1 year ago today and this morning i was sitting on the couch still in my pajama's and fi came out and brought me my ring < in its box > and proposed again! it was so sweet!

Today I am stuck on the couch with an attack of horrible vertigo. He drove me to the doctor's, cooked dinner, did the dishes, did homework with our 6 year old and is now getting her ready for bed with zero complaints. It's the small things that make me love him more everyday

FI always does little things here and there for me that make me love him more and more every day.  Yesterday I was super stressed and emotional and he gave me an awesome back massage and foot massage.  

He did something similar to your FI, aimee.  I was stressing about my wedding shoes so he was going to buy them for me, but I ended up buying them the day he was going to place the order.  I was really surprised when he told me he had been looking and was about to buy them!

My FI is really good at making me laugh when I'm stressed. It's perfect for me!

I'm glad that you ladies all have such wonderful men too! I know it's mushy gushy, but sometimes I just feel very lucky to have found a good one, and then I like to brag

Well, yesterday when he came home from work he didn't fight me for the remote (which is a big, silly issue for us), which first of all is out of the ordinary.  Normally as soon as he comes in its, "are you watching that?"  commercial comes on..."are you still watching that?" and this will go on and on til I give in.  Sooo, long story short he sat and watched like 5 episodes of Davis Tuterra's my fair wedding and actually paid attention.  Oh, that dress is  cute on her...no, #2 looks better....oooooh, that cake is pretty...look hun, that color is nice.....look at that; do we have to do that?

I couldn't even pay attention to the show, I sat and watched him being excited about "wedding stuff"  LOL. 

Its all the small things in life that make the big difference!

I love this thread!!  It's great reading all these posts!  My favorite band, who isn't really mainstream, came out with a new cd today for the first time in 3 years.  I've been counting down the days for a while.  FI drove quite a ways to the Best Buy during his lunch break today to pick it up for me.  Then, when they didn't have it, he drove all the way to another one after work to find a Best Buy that DID have it.  I was really touched.  It really is the little things...

My FI 'serenaded' me via text message today by sending me the lyrics to "Tale As Old As Time" from Beauty and the Beast. We are the corniest people.

When we are on road traveling somewhere or just hanging out and the radio is on in the background and a favorite song of mine is playing, my FI will turn the radio down and start serenading me, emphasizing the points in the song that are my favorite.  Its definitely the little things he does that make me feel so lucky to have found him, even if he doesn't realize the certain little things mean so much to me.  I can't wait for October 13th!
