I got invited to one of the bridal package demonstration things- you know, the events that sound like scams?  'Come watch us use this amazing product and get a free gift!"

Amazingly, it worked out just like that for us tonight!  FI and I went, watched this guy use this high-class cookware, and chatted with other engaged couples for about an hour.  Went it came down to the pricing, we just couldn't afford the cookware, and the guy said, "Well, I can understand that, thanks for coming out, and here's your gift."

Certificate to a jewlery website for free wedding bands.  I'm excited!

We almost got the honeymoon win, but neither of us have passports and airfare is not something I wanna try to book... LOL!  So the rings it is!

I've always wondered if those things actually worked. My brother went to one where he got tickets to a show and dinner in Vegas for he and his wife.. He said the offerings for the shows weren't very great but he didn't expect much for it being free.
