What to do in Atlanta

Hey girls!
I'm helping my sister plan her wedding (Emory Conference Center, 5/30/2010) and I'm trying to put together a list of things to do in Atlanta for her OOT bags/her website.  Does anyone have one they could send me?  I'm not from here, so I really don't know much about the city...

    I do not have a list since im not getting married until 5/2011....but the i think the top 5 must see or dos would be
    GA Aquarium
    World of Coke
    CNN
    if kids... Childrens museum
    High Museum
    Centennial Park
    Piedmont Park
    Stroll Atlantic Station
    Botanical Gardens
    Fox Theater
    Fernbank Museum..... a lot of these places, esp. the the first four are all within walking distance of each other.... hope this helps a little maybe someone else can actually provide you a detail list

    Right across the street from Emory Conference Center is the main CDC campus.  There's the Global Odyssey museum there, you might try that for the scientifically minded.

    I haven't put a list together, but some more options might be the zoo, Little Five Points for hanging out/shopping, Virginia Highlands for more shopping and restaurants, Stone Mountain...

    Fernbank Museum of Natural History

    The Fox Theatre

    Georgia Aquarium

    High Museum of Art

    Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta

    Six Flags Over Georgia

    Stone Mountain Park

    I'm from the DC area too!! (Gaithersburg) -- but I live here in Atlanta now.

    Here's my list for my OOT bags:

    map
    something peach
    something pecan
    Chick-fil-a coupon
    travel size tylenol
    customized water bottles
    welcome note from FI and I
    Taxi #s
    Atlantan Magazine (which can be "stolen" from Phipps Plaza outside Saxx!)

    For the out of town guest bags I bought reusable shopping bags from Trader Joe's that have an Atlanta design - people loved them! They're $1 each.
