Hmm, I wonder if I have pics of the supplies I used.  Anyway, I bought a round styrofoam disc at Michaels, like these


and another styrofoam half circle, like this



I glued the half ball on top of the disc (to give it some height).  Then I bought flowers at Michaels and cut them off the stems and just poked them into the topper.  I found some floral pins in the wedding section and stuck them inside the roses and finally just wrapped some ribbon around the edges of the disc to disguise it.
