Makeup recommendations

I'm planning on doing my own makeup for the wedding and I've got everything in hand and down pat except for my foundation. When I had my trial at MAC, I didn't like how my skin looked. Not sure if it was how much she used or if it was the type but either way, it showed every wrinkle and pore and they're not noticeable before that! I'm wondering if any of you ladies has any recommendations for good and affordable liquid foundation. I never wear foundation so I really don't want to spend $30 on a bottle that I will literally use once. TIA!

I tried the MAC foundation, too, and it really did a number on my skin. I usually use Clinique consealer/powder, so I decided to go with Clinique for my foundaiton. I got the superbalanced makeup foundation and really like it. I have no idea on the cost but it is probably $20-$30.

before i switched to mineral make up - which i absolutely love and 400% recommend - i used the clinique superfit liquid.  it's a good make up.

The foundation I had for my wedding was True Blood Mineral Makeup, and it was amazing!! If I had more $$ to buy more than Cover Girl makeup, I would switch in a heartbeat. It was very light, but covered wonderfully and didn't appear heavy at all.

I use Everyday Minerals in matte and LOVE it. It doesn't have Bismuth Oxychloride, and is super affordable.   I have heard good things about Rimmel's stay matte foundation too.

I use Everyday Minerals in matte as well. It works well and stays forever!

Thanks for all the advice ladies! I'll be doing a makeup trip this weekend to see what I can come up with. Need some fake lashes too that aren't over the top!
