Das Meyer Anniversary Cake

Did any of you have your wedding cake made by Das Meyer? I've read all of these reviews about how Das Meyer will give you a free top tier of your wedding cake on your first anniversary. But I don't think anyone at Das Meyer ever told me this. Do they just surprise you with a free cake on your one-year anniversary? How does it work?

    I remember when we went there for cake tasting they told us about the free anniversary cake. You just call and order it a week or so before the date. Many bakeries offer the free first anny cake. I would almost expect it.

    Give them a call and ask. Everyone there is so nice and they really love what they do.
