Ridley Creek State Mansion

Hi!  I'm new to the knot and this is my first post. I am getting married in Oct 2012 at Ridley Creek State Park Mansion. Has anyone had or been to a wedding at this venue?  I would love to hear about previous experiences with caterers, djs. etc...

I have not but I think its beautiful! I looked there but they weren't booking at the time b/c of the kitchen renovations and I was so disappointed!

No, but we got our e-pics done at ridley creek park and there was a wedding goong on there at the time. Looked pretty neat! GL

some photos here romanceatridleycreek dot blogspot dot com only a few are outside and sunny but it gives you an idea.  they've upgraded in the last few years, the price has gone up as well--it kills me! wish my daughter had decided to get married when it was 700. to rent the mansion!  ah well!

Ohh exciting! We're getting married there as well in October.  I've only been to a Halloween party there many years ago (12+), back when it was a very nominal fee to have events there.  When we went on the tour recently, I was very happy to hear that they'll be totally updating their kitchen, which should make it much easier for the caterer.  Sounds like they're doing lots of other updates as well (such as work to the patio), which should be completed by October.  Congrats!!
