Sorry for the long vent.
So I decided from the beginning of wedding planning that to save money I would make my own invites. So I made pocket folds from 12 by 12 pieces of scrap book paper and printed invites other items (RSVP etc) on cardstock. FI has been on my back for a while asking when they would be done (he did offer to help) but I was just so busy with work and other items that I just started making them last weekend. And when I was making the pocketfolds first there wasn't much he could help with as i didn't have two sets of supplies.
So we went to see my MOH yesterday (my sister) and the two of us finished making all of the pocketfolds and assembled them, all that was left was printing the addresses on the envelopes (both the main one and the RSVP ones). I ended up getting clear labels and printing on those because the printer wasn't liking the printer size. But then I had to fly to indiana for work and the labels weren't put on the envelopes yet. So FI said he would finish them, I showed him what to do and all was fine.
So, I get to Indiana and talk to FI and he is stressing out because the pockets within the pocketfolds aren't staying on. I used a glue runner and it is still sticky, but for some reason won't stay down. We are nervous even if he press it down, when we send it and someone opens it the pocket is going to fall off. So, FI is stressing asking why I didn't let him help me earlier but i don't think that would have made a difference.
I guess I just don't know what to do. Find something else for it to stick better? I guess I will post on DIY also, but I just like this board the best. Thanks!
