Ceremony music?

I've had most of my biggies done for a long long time. 2 year engagement, booking so early obtained previous years pricing instead of the increased of this year. Scored massive deals.

Now to work on all the little things. Eeek.

So at the moment, I'm working on music. Particually the ceremony. I know I do not want Cannon D or any traditional music used to walk down the aisle.

I have been listening to some string bands and liking some of their stuff, but nothing is stiring the "This is it!" feeling for me.

What I need from you ladies, is either some other songs you heard played at ceremony's or if you are doing something outside the traditional... Yeah I need a direction to look more.

We are having our neice play My Heart Will Go On from Titanic on her flute. It sounds so pretty. Last night on one of the other boards I found out about a string quartet called Vitamin String Quartet. They play everything from tradtional to Lady GaGa. Check it out on Itunes.

I'm doing Barrage "Mountain Spring" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Oyfudkikrw). I had the chance to perform with this celtic fiddle group in high school and have loved this song for a while. I hadn't thought of it at all until it came across my ipod one night and it hit me. I'm not sure yet what we are doing for our recessional. Hope this helps!

Vitamin String Quartet like pp mentioned, is becoming pretty popular, we're using songs by them for the ceremony.

We're doing, "Don't Stop Believin'" for the processional (which I stole from the Wedding Singer), "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" for when I walk down the aisle. And then we like, "Dare You to Move", "We Belong Together", "Pumped Up Kicks", and some others that we'll use for music playing before the ceremony and stuff. We don't know what we're doing for the song directly following the ceremony yet. (all song titles are links)
