    Dear Photographer,
I like you, you're generally nice and responsive.  Don't tease me by telling me you're sharing the album design with me to proof, but don't give me an attachment or link.  I'm very impatient and this was such a tease!  Please send the real deal soon.
    xoxo,
I need some joy this morning.

I confess I'm very close to going home or quarantining myself.  Even though I don't feel terribly sick, I feel bad sneezing around my coworkers.  I don't know why I feel guilty though, because I don't like most of them Tongue out

I confess that I got bored with the songs on my mp3 player, and I'm too cheap to buy new songs, so I signed up for Pandora.  I seriously heart the R&B/Soul Channel on Pandora.  Love.

MH, MythBusters proved that if you have to sneeze, it's best to sneeze into your elbow, and not your hand.  ;)

    Vent/Confession:

In the past month and a half I have spent over $150 on Party Lite stuff to help my SIL get her business up and going, and she had the nerve to send me ANOTHER invite.  No Ang, I'm done.  Because of all the money I've spent, I now don't have any money for JEGs'  Christmas present.

    Dear Septa,

Maybe you should have improved your shitty service before raising your fares. Making me an hour late for work numerous times a month is unacceptable.

    Dear Educational Psychology professor,

I'm sick of hearing the same quips every week. We know you met Dr. Bill Cosby, we know the "definition" of insanity, we know your kids think your dyslexic, etc., etc., etc.

However, what we really don't know pertains to the reason we're all in the class - educational psychology - I'm glad you at least picked a decent (albeit boring) text book, b/c if it weren't for reading that I'd have NO F*ing clue what the hell was a going on! You might be able to work with ex-cons and addicts, but your teaching pretty much blows. I'm thankful I work here and don't actually have to take out a loan or pay for it on my own - b/c if that was the case - I'd cringe.

I look forward to the end of this class on Dec. 6th.

    Dear Friend,
I'm not sure if I'm going to hear from you again, or if I am still invited to your wedding.  If you'd like to give my two seats to someone else, please feel free.  Its a shame that you feel I'm such a bad friend because I don't come to your parties.  To be honest, I don't like your friends and I don't really want to drive 45 minutes and pay $20 for parking to hang out with them. I've never turned down an invitation to hang out with you personally.  I like you, even though I find you at times to be immature and I often don't understand your relationship.  I don't agree with much of what you say and do, but I stick by you and give you support and advice when you ask for it, because that's what friends do.  If you want to write me off, that's fine.  We are very different people and lead very different lives, its possible that we are just not meant for the long haul.  People come in and out of our lives all the time.  They teach us something, and move on.  Perhaps we've come to that point.  No hard feelings.
    Thanks,
    Your Friend

Confession:  I bought DH one of his Xmas gifts with all the gift cards we got for the wedding/shower (so technically he's buying it too - but I guess that's what happened when you're married).  We didn't register for a wine fridge, but he's been talking about buying one... so I got him this:

AW: We are going to Chicago first weekend of April and I got Cubs tix - The flight and baseball tickets are his other Xmas gifts. YES!

    Dear Kid -
This whole screaming thing is getting old and giving me a headache.
    Your sitter.

    Dear self -
GET TO WORK.  There's only like three weeks left in the semester and you can't keep up and are really falling behind.  Write your stupid case study while the kid is watching tv.
Also clean the condo.  You have people coming over to buy jewelry Friday and you are so not ready.

    Dear cat -
I would really appreciate it if you pooped in the liter box not on the floor.
    Thanks,

There is someone down the hall in our office who has a nagging, awful cough and refuses to go home! Just go home! The sound of your cough pains me. Thanks.

No one from our department volunteered to help with the holiday party at work, and my name was drawn out of the hat at our staff meeting... we're the only department who is sending anyone. Luckily our admin volunteered to help with me, which is going to save my sanity as the other two women on the committee drive me completely and utterly insane.

Dear person responsible for planning holidy party committee meetings,
Yes, my schedule is very full. But you have access to my very full schedule from your computer. There is absolutely no reason to come all the way down the hall and ask me if I'm really busy then. I am. Seriously. And this event barely registers on my to-do list, so it will continue to be prioritized below the students I'm payed to work with here. I'm sorry my priorities are different from yours.
    Love,
I'm going to start shutting and LOCKING my office door
And they're the five best friends that anyone could have, the five best friends that anyone could have! Photobucket

Cara - did you get gift cards?
  • edited December 2011
NCV - I don't have many girlfriends. At.all.  And most of my real friends are over an hour away from me :(

LadyJ - Can I guess that your event planner person doing the scheduling is older and isn't comfortable using the calendar to schedule?  Happens to me all the time and really pisses me off.

Tacc - we did, and we were in BB&B, C&B and Macys this weekend, but I couldn't convince DH to use any of our gift cards or refunds.  We are hoping to buy a house early next year and since they don't expire, he was determined that we hold onto them.

Ahhh, gotcha.  Money burns holes in my pocket - and I had a coupon to C&B - so I figured it was the perfect time to buy it.  Plus, they only had one in stock apparently.

    Dear Bridesmaid,

While you have been a dear friend for along time, you're really pissing me off.  I certainly understand trying to save money and being smart about your finances, however if you don't want to spend more than 50 dollars on a dress and 75 on the shower in order to cut costs, I would have understood if you couldn't be a BM...  While I'm excited you said yes, man up and stop being difficult on every decision.  B**ching out the MOH is neither nice or necessary unfortunately your house can't hold 90 people to host the shower- get over it.  You can be thrifty without being just plain cheap.  I understand you were supposed to be the next to get married and you resent that you're not, but get over it.  You really make me wish you'd just back out.

    Love,
    Me

p.s. when you send my fiancee an email that rips me apart and says i'm horrible, so i deserve a shitty shower, i don't think you should be overly shocked that he shared it.... rule #1 don't openly and freely diss the bride about something that happened 6 years ago- get over it...

I confess I dislike judgmental people.  Especially when people make fun of things they don't understand.

I also confess that I dislike people who air personal grievances on facebook. Even worse when they are thinly veiled and just meant to stir up drama.

Cara - Like my friend who posted last night on FB saying "OMG, worst day in years, worse than the day my grandmother died, I can't take it"  ..... and got about 20 responses saying "Whats wrong!?!?!?  Are you okay!??!?!"

... Hello!  Dont compare your day to the death of a family member and NOT explain why.  Furthermore - if your day was really THAT BAD, don't talk about it at ALL on FB.. why not just call a friend to vent?
