Colors for a May Wedding?

What colors would you suggest for a May wedding?  My mom is insisting on pinks and I am just not sure?  Thank you for your help!

Honestly whatever you want!  May is such a great time of year that anything would work.  I love bright colors so I would say Yellows, Greens, Blues.  I also LOVE Pink and Gray.  Just search around the knot and on pinterest for color boards to get ideas.

Whatever you want.  It's your wedding, your mom already had hers.  

I had eggplant BM dresses in May then spring colored flowers.

I'm also having a May wedding in 2013, I'm not sure what colors to pick, but I've heard that the best thing to do is to work according with the reception or ceremony style, so it can be in harmony.

OO what about Yellow and Gray??  As you can see I am on a gray kick hahah.

I'm getting married this May and our colors are fuchsia, purple and green... we just picked colors we liked...any color combination goes with a May wedding!

My May wedding is going with pearl gray and sapphire blue. I agree with other posters that anything goes. You could do pastels, or really bright and funky or literally anything that you want. Spring is fun like that.

I agree with one of the PPs about seeing what works best with your venue. 

I'm having  May wedding and our colors are Black, Blush Pink, Ivory, and Silver.
