Ceremony decor idea

What do you girls think of something like this for ceremony decor.  I was thinking of getting 2 hooks for the fiance and I to stand between for the ceremony.

I would hang flower balls on them.  The girl that is making my bouquet said she'd be able to make me some flower balls to hang on the hooks.  I want something that is simple, easy to set up, and inexpensive.  Also, do you think those hooks will be able to stand up in the sand, or will it be a pain in the butt??

Thanks for any advice you have!

I like the idea...not sure if they will be sturdy in the sand. As long as they are buried deep hopefully it shouldnt be a problem.

Sugar Snap quoted me for hooks instead of our bamboo "altar" as one of my options, so beach brides definitely use them.  She was going to use a three-tier hook with small, medium, and large pomanders to make more of a focal point up front.  I think it's a cute look!

I guess if it's in deep enough, it will just stand?  Maybe put some wet sand around it to help hold it up?

Most of these "shepherd" hooks have 2 metal parts that go into the ground.  That should make it very sturdy.  They come in several lengths so be sure it will have enough out of the sand.  This is an image from Home Depot.

LOVE this idea! I think it would look very nice and you shouldn't have a problem keeping the rods standing up in the sand. It will be a nice touch for your pictures too- kinda frame the shot of you both at the altar.

i hung mine on the chairs to line the isle .. so if the hooks do not work, the chairs would be another option.
