Pictures at Jockey's Rige

Hi,

Has anyone done pictures at Jockey's Ridge?  Or have any advice on my trying to do that?  I've never been there, so I am unsure how far we will have to walk to get some good pictures and how far to the big dunes.  Thanks for any advice!

    The big dune is quite a hike from Highway 12!  I didn't do pictures there though, so I can't speak too much about that.

    It might be easier to park at the Kitty Hawk kites and cross to Jockey's Ridge to do pics. There is a crosswalk and I'm sure in your wedding dress people will be glad to stop for you :)
