Hey Everyone, 

I just feel way in over my head about some of this stuff. What is a good average for a Richmond Area DJ. I just feel like I was way over quoted.

    I have a feeling I know which company that was.  I havn't found the perfect DJ yet, but I think the average cost should be somewhere from $450-900 depending on experience and number of hours needed.  If I am correct on who quoted you I don't think you could go wrong with them, but if price is an issue I would keep shopping around.  I myself am meeting with TMG tomorrow.  My quote with them was $450 for 5 hours, but they wont need to bring much equiment since they can plug into my venue. It would def be more if they had to bring their own equip.
