Beach ceremony site?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out the best way to host a ceremony on the beach and an indoor reception in a banquet/ballroom. I don't need them to be at the same location, just somewhere near each other. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this on a budget? I can't spend $4,500 just to get married on a beach at the marriott, not including food or ANYTHING but the ceremony? Ya know?

So, any good beach ceremony ideas to keep cost down and then I can look for a reception venue around that? Any ideas would be MUCH appreciated. Looking for anything in Southern California and for 75-100 guests.

Thanks!

I just went up to Tahoe to scope out some of the beach ceremony sites. I personally thought Lakeside beach was beautiful. Regan Beach West is really pretty too.
I looked at Timber Cove, but it was waaaay to public. At least at the other two places, they are more tucked away aside from the public beach, and they have staff that keep people out. and Lakeside beach is right on stateline so you could walk right up to one of the casinos for the reception. I think that is what we are going to do. I'm looking into the Opal lounge at Montlbleu casino for the reception.
Check out Blue Shore Weddings or Simple Tahoe weddings. They have great packages, that don't cost much.
