I think it might be a bit corny to walk down the aisle with signs - but that's just me.  It would be cute to have them for photo ops, however.

Other flower alternatives I've seen are parasols (for an outdoor wedding), kissing balls, fans, candles, or just a cute purse and nothing else!

Yes agreed - signs for photos is cute, but actually down the aisle is corny!!

I respect your idea of being different but having BM carry signs down the aisle is on the corny side for me

It's unanimous - I'm actually making a photo booth with props, so those signs will work there, and am making my bridesmaids clutches to carry

a bit corny, yes, but it could be really cool as a photobooth prop! work it in that way!

We did a photo booth at my wedding, and the best purchase was 2 small chalkboards (from the dollar store) where people wrote messages & cute sayings.  If you did this, you could have the words from the photos, plus many more!  Just a thought - pics on my married bio if you want to see some ideas!

VERY cute idea for photo's, consider it stolen LOL

I'm doing corsage for the bridesmaids instead bouquets. Very classy ones, not prom style.

This is a great question!! I would also love an alternative to flowers as well...  Would it be weird for the ladies (myself included) to carry nothing down the isle?

a girl i know from nursing school had cute orange pinwheels that matched the bridesmaid dress colour.
i think that's cute for an outdoor wedding!
