Standard Postage Sizes

I've designed our Save the Dates and there's a really good deal on VistaPrint right now, so I thought we could print them off early to save money.  However we designed the STDs to be 5x7.  Is this a standard size?  Or are we better off downsizing them to 5.5 x 4.2" (14 x 10.7cm)?  I don't want to save money on the invites only to get hit up with having to pay for non-standard postage.

(The program I design them in only uses inches, hence the measurements.  My apologies.)

I forget the sizes, but they are definitely on the Canada Post website.  5x7 is fine, though.  It's the weight at that point that could make a difference - you should be good!

Oh - just checked, MAX dimensions are 9.65 x 6.14 inches.  I've definitely had 5x7 envelopes, but check with Canada Post just in case.

5x7 is fine, especially for a postcard. (Note: There is no special postcard rate in Canada.) When it comes to your actual invites, remember that too much "stuff" in them will put you over the weight limit.

5x7 is standard, the corresponding envelope size is the A7 envelope.
As long as it's under 30 grams you will be paying regular postage!
