Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with contacting City of Markham to arrange for one of their registered officiants to do the ceremony. I have yet to find a better price than $223.31 including taxes (and they go to you!), but I can't call to speak with their office until next week.
So, any experience?
OR, how did you choose your officiant for your civil ceremony?
I have looked online, but I have to contact sites for quotes, after first reading through biographies to figure out who offers civil instead of religious ceremonies. Honestly, if we're just being matched up anyways, does it really matter if we can save money going through the city we're getting married in (I would imagine it's a similar process to the online read through profiles thing)?
