Needed: NFP Computer Program and Advice/tips

I need a recommendation for a NFP computer program for tracking all this crazy data. They gave us these graph worksheets you fill in class but I am having trouble with them because I am dyslexic. I can't track all the lines and dots visually.

Do ya'll have any advice or tips that ya'll did not learn and class that might help?

Does it really matter what time you take your temperature in the morning? I am a late sleeper because I work late.

Try fertilityfriend.com for charts. You just go and input your information each day, and it'll make a very easy to follow chart for you. Some people use the site when they're TTC (trying to conceive), but it can and is also widely used for TTA (trying to avoid). The best thing to do is keep your thermometer and a pen and piece of paper in your nightstand, so you can jot down your information and enter it into FF later.

I don't think it matters what time you take it every morning, just make sure it's consistent and take it as soon as you wake up in the morning. So it doesn't matter if you take it at 11am or 6am, just be sure you take your BBT before you get up and start moving around.

i tried out fertility friend. i liked it, and its free. i'm kinda old school though, so the paper and pen works well for me.

ditto akg on the temp. as long as you are somewhat consistent with time of day AND you take it before doing anything else (i.e., going to the bathroom) you should be good to go.

I too use fertilityfriend and it is wonderful. I still have my trusty pen and paper beside the bed just in case something were to ever happen to FF. As for FF it is very helpful and you are able to record everything as if you were tracking on paper. I hope that this helps.

Out of curiosity... is there a way to chart the Creighton-type syptoms on the fertility-friend tool as well? Since it's just cervical mucous and no temperature, I'm also trying to chart when I get headaches or am moody to see when they fall during my cycle and what hormone levels they correlate with...

You can chart CM on Fertility Friend, but there is no way to chart the plethora of codes that Creighton model calls for (at least as far as I know). So, you could either use your Creighton model charts plus FF and enter basic descriptions of the CM plus other symptoms on FF, or try to write your other symptoms somewhere on your Creighton chart, or keep a little piece of paper next to your Creighton chart to record on which days you had those other symptoms. The second two options sound far simpler to me, but it would of course be up to you.

CCL offers a tool called CyclePro. We've been meaning to get it forever, so I don't know how good it is

I use fertilityfriend as well. I know you can add/edit your own symptoms into the chart, so that might be an option for Creighton method.
