Please pray for my sister

Her baby is due on January 27th.  She went for her regular doctor's appointment this morning, and her blood pressure is way up and they think she may have preeclampsia.  They're running a lot of tests right now.  Also, the baby is measuring small so they have to do an ultrasound tomorrow to see if something is wrong with the baby.  My aunts both had preeclampsia and almost died, so I'm really worried.  Your prayers would be very appreciated.

Prayers for your sister and her baby!

Please try to remember that eight month babies, although facing some risk, have a great survival rate, far far better than even 20 years ago, almost 100%.  God bless!

Thank you for all the prayers and kind words.  Sister is coping well and just waiting to see what happens now.

Can we make this a joint prayer thread? 

Dad is 81, and was in the hospital for blocked bowel several weeks ago  that he had surgery on....which cuased blood clots on his lungs and intensified the swelling in his legs. He was home for Christmas, but had a seizure this morning because of low blood sugar (after mom and him fell). 

He is stabilized, but very uncomfortable.

Lots of prayers for both - do you mind if I tag along? My father has been having horrible pain in his back and neck for a long, long time - the doctors keep trying things but can't seem to find a source so they can treat it properly. On Christmas Day he began having terrible dizziness in addition to the pain. I've prayed and prayed for some relief from his suffering, and would appreciate any additional thoughts heading up his way -
