It was so nice!  Especially since we went in the fall, the weather was perfect and it wasn't just packed with people.  We basically had every winery we toured to ourselves, and we never saw a soul at our cabin except the night we ate at the restaurant on site.

Where have you travelled within the US?  Mostly to visit family.  Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, but also to Tennessee (Gatlinburg) once after Christmas with all of my Dad's side of the family, and now to the beach (near Myrtle Beach) each year with FI's family.

Where have you travelled outside of the US? Only one trip-London, Paris, Florence, Rome for a few days each, a total of 2 weeks.  My godparents (neither married, no kids) took me for my graduation from high school present.  I loved it!!  I'm glad I went once, but I no longer feel the need to ever leave the country again.

Where is your favorite place to vacation? I love when we go to FI's family's camp for the weekend.  It is a great getaway.  It's about 3-4 hours from home (depending if you go on the dirt roads or not!) and is in the middle of nowhere--meaning you have to drive 30 minutes to find a church/gas station/convenience store. 

Another option: New England.  I love it there!  If someone was forcing me to move away from my much-loved hometown, that would be where I would move, by the water, and lighthouses and fall foliage!!  Plus that's where both of my godparents live!
