The priest that is helping my fiance and me prepare for our wedding will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of his ordination on Friday. We were thinking of getting him something small to mark the occasion, and to thank him for being such a wonderful and helpful person. I was planning on making a card (I cross-stitch and have some beautiful patterns for crosses and the like), but was wondering if anyone had ideas for gifts?
Re: NWR: Anniversary of Priest's Ordination?
she gave him a gift card to a bookstore and some cash.
It was a pretty elaborate affair, held a a nice hotel, open bar, plated meal, dancing, etc. You would almost think you were at a wedding!
The invitations did specify no gifts though. (guess they didn't read the knot etiquette
