Hello ladies! I know people have posted numerous times about the Catholic ceremony program on here, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. We are having a full mass with communion, and about half of our guests aren't Catholic, so I want to make the program and ceremony easy to follow. My question, because I can't remember and the priest takes a long time to get back to me, is when do you sit/stand/kneel during the ceremony? Here is what I have (these are just the parts that I've indicated on the program where to sit and stand, not the full order of the mass).
Greeting (stand)
First Reading (Sit)
Gospel Acclamation (Stand)
Homily (Sit)
** this is where I can't seem to remember, so please let me know if I'm wrong at all!
Rite of Marriage (sit)
Liturgy of the Eucharist- Acclamation (kneel)
Lord's Prayer (stand)
Communion (sit or kneel)
Concluding rite- Blessing (stand)
Thank you to anyone who can help!
