Bloomington-Normal Wedding Dress Tailor/Seamstress

I bought my wedding dress from Bridal Elegance in Bloomington. They were great, but because they're a small shop, they do not have a seamstress. They recommend Nonie, but I've heard mixed reviews of her, and I'm nervous to go to someone that might not do a great job on my dress. I've also heard she's more expensive than other places in town. I don't want to go to just a random store though to get my wedding dress tailored. My wedding is in less than three months (April 17), so I need to find someone soon. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to stay away from and/or who to go to?

    I got mine altered at "A perfect Fit'  I can't think of the owner's name right now but she is wonderful to work with.  She altered my sister's dress and just finished mine.  You can find her in the phone book.  Good luck!

    Check out Percy's Tailor Shop on Monroe in downtown Bloomington.

    His shop is a hole in the wall, but he's an AWESOME tailor. He pretty much remade a suit for my husband and I won't ever trust anyone but Percy! And he's also pretty cheap.
    I like privacy. A lot.
